Georges Estate Health & Aged Care Community provides an innovative and care-focused approach to aged care in the Penshurst region. The community offers 111-beds over two levels as well as in-home and community aged care services for local clients living in the surrounding communities. Designed to offer all levels of care needs, Georges Estate Health & Aged Care Community provides specialist services (including a secure dementia care wing with 18 beds initially) as well as a gymnasium, cinema and a heated swimming pool. A wellness centre, day therapy centre and primary and allied health clinic will also be available as well as a dedicated space for research, training and education. With the ongoing support of the Georges River Council, this unique, integrated community will increase access to leading, quality and relevant aged care for the local community. Georges Estate Health & Aged Care Community aims to deliver better health outcomes for local residents and the wider community in a safe, comfortable and convenient location.
